scrapbook-lover turned graphic designer

Sara Armagno

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

One of my favorite things to do growing up was scrapbooking and creating handmade cards for family members and friends. One year, I decided to make ALL of my Christmas cards by hand... yes, approximately 100 cards designed with paper, tiny embellishments, patience, and a SERIOUS love/hate relationship with glue. After sending out my cards, a friend encouraged me to try and sell my cards in stores. I laughed the idea off for a while thinking no one would actually be interested.

As I grew up, my love of Cleveland continued to grow and I witnessed just how loyal Clevelanders can be to products made by local small businesses. If there is anywhere to be as a small business owner today, it's right here in "The Land". One day in 2013, I thought, "What's there to lose?" With that, Post Paper Goods emerged and I digitized my handmade designs. I started selling in 3 different local boutiques, at the airport, pop-up shops, and online.  I took quite a big break when I had my two children and then in 2023, I decided to put a more professional spin on the business and rebrand. Post Paper Goods became Sara Armagno Design.

Nowadays, I spend a lot of my week "ghost" graphic designing for local companies. I also sell my products on my website, Etsy, and via word-of-mouth. My favorite thing to work on is wedding stationery (invitations, signage, etc) and projects for local business clients. It has been a fun journey taking my childhood passion to a whole new level. I look forward to continuing to share this passion with all of you!
